I did not mean to hurt you or embarrass you. I was just kidding. What I said is just a phrase that I just use and do not mean. I was saying similar things to other students and they took them lightly. If you are hurt, I apologize and I can do that in class if it it pleases you and make you feel better.  You know very well that I never ignore any e-mails. I always gave you special attention and talked with you as a friend, not as a student. You should know me better and more than any other student after all the encouragement and the support I’ve always given you, and all the time I’ve spent with you in my office. You know very well how much I value you and what I think about you.  If you feel that you are doing me a favor by using my course site and by translating the texts, please don’t. I am also spending time teaching and taking care of the site. Time that I need for other things.  Wishing you success always.
