Dear Taghreed and class

Thank you for your apology. However, I think that it is not enough to apologize if you’re gonna keep doing the same thing over and over again.

I would like to tell everybody that I love all my students and love you (class A and B) in particular more than any other group that I have taught over the past 13 years. I always enjoy teaching you, joking with you, telling you stories, listening to you and reading your e-mails. But you should never forget that I am your teacher and I deserve to be respected. It is not polite to talk and laugh while I’m teaching. The main reason you and me are in class is to learn. It is my job to teach you. I like you to be the best students at the university. I always want to be proud of my students and their achievements. If I do not teach what I have to teach you, nobody will. You can ask my other students in level 10, 9 or 8 who study in the classroom next door. I do not want you to spend a whole semester with me and leave my class without having learnt much. I do not mind joking and laughing part of the time but not all the time. I want you to learn as much as possible from me and I’m ready to teach everything that you ask for. Learning should be fun. Learning should be a priority not only for me, your teacher. But for you as well. I want you to be great achievers like the Japanese, not only in soccer but in education as well.

I do not want our relationship to change. We have a great relationship and it should stay like that forever. Both of us should work on that. My duty is to teach you, and your duty is to learn and care for my feelings.
